AT THE FOUNDATION
Start With The Base Plate.
Coordinate the anchors with the column base plate and foundation drawing. Define the anchor form, projection and complete hardware arrangement.

- Rod diameter and length, anchor spacing and base plate holes.
- Embedded geometry
- L / J bend or welded plate dimensions and embedment detail.
- Matched hardware
- Nuts, washers and any plate washers above or below the base plate.
AT THE BEAM & COLUMN
Specify The Assembly System.
Order structural hex-head or tension-control bolt assemblies to the specified connection system. Bolt, nut and washer requirements are reviewed as a compatible set.
- Connection schedule
- Diameter, under-head length, grip and assembly quantity.
- Assembly system
- Governing standard, property class and matched hardware configuration.
- Tightening condition
- Preload requirements, installation method and specified testing documentation.
AT THE STEEL–CONCRETE INTERFACE
Define The Stud And The Weld.
Specify headed shear studs against the composite connection detail. Distinguish the supplied stud dimensions from the finished welded geometry.

- Shank diameter, head dimensions and before / after welding length.
- Welding arrangement
- Base material, weld-end form and compatible ferrules where included.
- Inspection basis
- Material records, supplied-product checks and project weld acceptance criteria.
