Use A Component Schedule

An anchor package may contain more than the rod itself. List each item, its drawing reference and the number required per assembly. This helps distinguish the purchased scope from components supplied by other parties.

Coordinate Plates And Rods

For welded plate anchors, specify the overall rod geometry and the plate dimensions separately. Show the plate position, connection detail and weld requirements. Where an assembly includes templates or additional plates, provide their hole patterns and orientation.

Agree Identification And Packing

Clarify whether components arrive loose, grouped by assembly or in a specified cage arrangement. Include marking and packing requirements so the received parts can be matched to the project’s component schedule.

Send One Consistent Revision

Keep the rod drawing, plate detail and bill of materials on coordinated revisions. Highlight any outstanding decisions before the order is released to production.
